Shah Rukh Khan is widely regarded as one of India’s wealthiest actors, but a recent claim by market analyst JS Khepar, popularly known as Jassi Tech, has highlighted just how significant the difference could be between his wealth and that of his A-list contemporaries Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Aamir Khan.JS Khepar estimated Salman Khan’s net worth at around Rs 3,000 crore to Rs 3,200 crore, while putting Aamir Khan’s wealth between Rs 1,900 crore and Rs 2,000 crore. According to his estimates, Akshay Kumar falls between the two, with a net worth of approximately Rs 2,700 crore to Rs 2,800 crore in an interview with Siddharth Kannan. However, he claimed that Shah Rukh’s net worth is significantly higher than all three. The actor’s vast wealth is spread across several businesses and properties. His assets include his Indian Premier League team Kolkata Knight Riders, his iconic sea-facing Mumbai residence Mannat, a 4BHK apartment in Shree Amrit Society on Carter Road, properties in London and Dubai, production banner Red Chillies Entertainment and its VFX studio. His earnings from films and brand endorsements also contribute to his overall wealth.“He’s the king! I don’t think his net worth is less than Rs 12,000 crore to Rs 12,500 crore. That’s why he’ the king,” said Khepar on Siddharth Kannan’s podcast. “He’s the badshah (emperor) in not only films, but also business. Look at KKR! Wherever he has investments, they’re all zabardast (outstanding),” added the analyst.During the conversation, Khepar also compared the approaches of Salman, Akshay and Aamir when it comes to their careers and investments. Drawing an analogy with cricket, he said, “Aamir is a test player, and Akshay is a T20 player. The approach is different in both the games. A T20 player is supposed to bat recklessly. A Test player is all about class. Aamir has that class. Whether his films work or not, he should remain Mr. Perfectionist.”Describing Akshay as a “khiladi” even in the way he approaches investments, Khepar pointed out that the actor has interests across multiple sectors. “If there was a T5 format, he would have aced it too,” he said, adding, “And Salman is like a one-day cricketer.”Khepar also highlighted Akshay’s ability to maintain a packed work schedule, with the actor often featuring in several films in a single year. He attributed this partly to the actor’s well-known fitness and disciplined approach.Speaking about Salman Khan’s investments, Khepar claimed that the actor’s major focus has been Mumbai’s real estate market. He said, “Salman has a Midas’ touch. He turns mud to gold in real estate, and earns a lot of money there. One should learn that from him. The whole world loves him, including real estate. There’s only money and more money in Mumbai’s real estate. If not here, then where?,”Salman owns several properties in Mumbai, including Galaxy Apartments at Bandra Bandstand, where he lives with his family. His property portfolio also reportedly includes assets on Carter Road and in Worli, along with his sprawling farmhouse in Panvel, which is spread across approximately 150 acres. While the exact net worth of celebrities is difficult to establish and can vary depending on how assets, businesses and investments are valued, Khepar’s estimates offer an insight into the vastly different financial portfolios of some of Bollywood’s biggest stars.
