Only a few weeks ago, ‘Legally Blonde’ star Selma Blair was arrested at JFK airport after allegedly assaulting a flight attendant. Now, in an Instagram video uploaded on October 30, Blair held back tears as she addressed what really happened onboard the flight.Sharing her video on her handle, she said, “I know I’ve been quiet for a couple of weeks since October 11th. And you deserve to hear from me directly. And I’m sorry that it’s taken this long.” She continued, “And I take this very seriously. What I can tell you, though, is very simple and the truest thing I know about myself: Not one day ever have I intended to hurt or frighten anyone, a day in my life.”

The actress also issued an official apology saying, “To the people that I disappointed, that I hurt, that I frightened, and that I alarmed. I am so sorry. And to the people that have written, or called, or sent wishes of love or caring, it has meant everything to me and my son, who is my world, as a scout who is also okay. So right now, I’m going to be taking care of my health and my son and thinking of you all with gratitude and love.“Blair was taken into custody after her plane had landed in JFK. However, there was reportedly another altercation while transporting her and the flight attendant to the hospital for an evaluation before eventually being presented before a judge and being released on bond.On October 12, Selma Blair pleaded not guilty against official charges of assault. At the time, her representative had previously spoken out to deny parts of the story, saying, “Selma Blair experienced a medical emergency on the flight. There was no attempt to open the door of the aircraft. Selma did not intend to harm anyone.”The rep also fired back at allegations that the actress doesn’t actually have multiple sclerosis (MS).
