Salman Khan’s niece Alizeh Agnihotri is set to headline her second feature film with The Viral Fever’s upcoming zombie movie College Fest. The project, which reportedly brings together a college setting and the zombie genre, has already completed its principal photography.
Alizeh Agnihotri joins ‘College Fest’
Alizeh, the daughter of actor-producer Atul Agnihotri and actor Alvira Khan Agnihotri, made her Hindi film debut with Farrey in 2023. The film, backed by Salman Khan Films in association with Reel Life Production and Mythri Movie Makers, marked her first major acting project. According to Variety India, Alizeh is now gearing up for her next feature, College Fest. The actor has reportedly been cast in the TVF production, which has already wrapped filming.The upcoming film is expected to combine the familiar college story with elements of the zombie genre, giving Alizeh an opportunity to take on a markedly different setting and character in her second feature.
Ashish Chanchlani also features in the film
Content creator Ashish Chanchlani was previously announced as one of the leads when Prime Video revealed the title of the project. The story follows a group of college students whose lives take an unexpected turn after a mysterious infection begins transforming them into zombies. As the infection spreads, the students are forced to deal with the consequences of the situation while attempting to navigate the increasingly bizarre circumstances around them.
Vaibhav Bundhoo to direct ‘College Fest’
College Fest is directed by Vaibhav Bundhoo, with Arunabh Kumar and Vijay Koshy backing the project as producers. Kumar has also written the film. The project is part of TVF’s expanding slate of youth-oriented stories, but College Fest takes the familiar campus setting in a more unconventional direction by incorporating zombies into the narrative. Further details about Alizeh’s character and her role in the zombie comedy-drama have yet to be revealed. The makers are also yet to announce the film’s release date.
Alizeh Agnihotri’s acting journey
Alizeh made her acting debut with ‘Farrey’, which marked her entry into Hindi cinema. The film followed a young scholarship student who becomes involved in an examination cheating racket and also featured Prasanna Bisht, Zeyn Shaw and Sahil Mehta.
